Bow Valley College is Calgary’s only comprehensive community college, offering programs in technology, business administration, community studies, and health and wellness at the one-year certificate and two-year diploma level, as well as post-diploma and post-degree options for college/university graduates. We also offer academic upgrading and English language learning courses for students looking to prepare for college or the workforce and continuing education courses for the working professional.
Founded in 1965, we have over 50 years’ experience supporting learners with flexible, focused college education, upgrading, and English language learning courses that lead to careers. We are a diverse and inclusive learning community of 17,500 unique learners. Our 2019 learner study showed an 88% graduate employment rate and 92% learner satisfaction. Our main campus is located in the heart of downtown Calgary, with regional campuses across southern Alberta, including Airdrie, Banff, Cochrane, Okotoks, and Strathmore.
