Live chat will be available from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm MT on September 18th.
Please follow these steps to start a live chat.

  1. If you have already registered for the event, you will need to sign into your account to view organization booths and access the live chat. To log into your account, click here.
  2. Click the Booths tab in the main menu to find a list of all organizations participating in the job fair. Then, click on an organization’s logo to visit its individual booth page.
  3. This will open the organization’s page with important information about the company. The live chat is located on the right side of the page. Please note if you are using a mobile device, the live chat will be available at the bottom of the page.
  4. You can send your resume and other documents to organizations via the live chat.
  5. Click the Chat Inbox tab in the main menu to view and reply to your chat conversations. The Chat Inbox feature will not be visible once the live chat has ended.
  6. Don’t worry about missing a chat conversation if you are not signed into the Job Fair website when someone messages you. You will receive an email with the chat information, which you can reply to directly via email.

At a loss as to what to ask in your typed chat with employers?

Here are some examples of great questions to ask during the job fair:

  • What’s your favorite part about working at the company?
  • What attributes does someone need to have in order to be successful in your company?
  • What types of skills does your company expect of a new hire?
  • What gets you most excited about the company’s future?
  • What challenges has this company faced in the last few years? What challenges do you anticipate in the coming years?
  • What changes or innovations in the industry are you most excited about?
  • What are the company’s core values?
  • What’s the company and team culture like?
  • What could you tell me about the company that isn’t widely known?
  • What kind of leadership/management style do you promote in the company?
  • Are there any mentors on staff?
  • How long does your recruitment process usually take?
  • Is there anything that concerns you about my background being a fit for this role?
  • What are the next steps in the interview/hiring process?

  • Offrez-vous un programme de mentorat pour les nouvelles recrues?

  • Est-ce que vous avez des craintes par rapport à mon expérience de travail qui feraient en sorte que je ne qualifierais pas pour le poste?
